    How an install actually works

No mystery, no surprise charges. Here is the path from first call to a charger that works every morning.

    1. 01

      Site assessment

We look at your panel, your parking, and the distance between them — and do the load math.

    2. 02

      Straight quote

You get a real price based on what your home needs, with every line explained.

    3. 03

      Install

Dedicated circuit, correct wire, charger mounted and tested under load.

    4. 04

      Permit & inspection

We pull the permit and sit the inspection so the work is legal and on the record.

    What Determines Your Installation

Distance from the panel to the charger is usually the largest factor. A charger on a garage wall backing onto the panel is a short run. One on the far side of the house, or out to a detached garage, can mean 50 to 100 feet of conduit and wire.

Panel capacity is the second. If your service has room, the job is one new circuit. If it is full or undersized, a subpanel or service upgrade comes first. Homes built in the last twenty years around Ballantyne, Weddington and Fort Mill usually have room. Homes from the 1940s through the 1970s in Dilworth, Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood often do not.

Charger amperage, finished versus unfinished space, and indoor versus outdoor placement all move the number as well. None of it can be judged over the phone, which is why we quote on site.

Beyond Mecklenburg County we also cover Concord, Harrisburg and Kannapolis in Cabarrus County, Monroe and Weddington in Union County, Troutman in Iredell County, and Gastonia, Belmont and Mount Holly in Gaston County, plus Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Rock Hill in South Carolina, where permitting runs through a different state entirely.

Not sure what you need? That is normal.

Most homeowners calling us just bought their first EV and do not yet know whether they need a Wall Connector, a 14-50 outlet, or a panel upgrade. That is exactly what we help you figure out. Tell us about your car and your home, and we will call you back with a straight recommendation.
